Since launching in Fall 2016, YANA DC has been actively holding activities to connect and support members and Yale students. A few highlights include alums sharing their work in the social justice sector on a summer panel for Yale students and an evening with Phil Rucker ’06, who shared his insight as a White House correspondent on the current political environment in DC. We recently formed a Leadership Committee to help us expand the work we are able to do to support our members. We will concentrate on educational and networking events, volunteer opportunities, and chances to build a strong alumni community here.
