Building Bridges: Forging Effective Corporate-Impact Partnerships

BUILDING BRIDGES: FORGING EFFECTIVE
CORPORATE-IMPACT PARTNERSHIPS

The Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance (YANA) and Inspiring Capital held an inaugural collaborative event on April 16, 2018 at Civic Hall in New York. This interactive roundtable discussion focused on the opportunities and challenges related to collaboration between private sector companies and non-profit organizations (or for-profit social enterprises). Expert facilitators shared their view of the topic and then led small group discussions, designed to be honest and action-oriented. To re-live the event, check out this 15-minute video discussing highlights from the evening, as well as takeaways from the panelists and take a look at the slide deck, which includes all of the characteristics of successful partnerships (p. 8).
