Facilitated by YANA’s Executive Director Rachel Littman ’91.\n\nWednesday\, March 30 | 6:30 PM EDT\n\nAll welcome to attend; Registration required\n\nREGISTER HERE \n\nSPEAKER INFO: \nLiam Elkind is a graduating senior at Yale University and co-founder of Invisible Hands\, a nonprofit founded in March at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic to deliver food\, medicine\, and other essentials to the elderly and at-risk. His work has been featured by Fox and Friends\, Andrea Mitchell Reports\, Good Morning America\, the Associated Press\, Men’s Health\, the New Yorker\, and the New York Times\, among others. He has also served in executive positions in Yale’s largest political action organization and Class Councils. He is the founder of Registration Is Student Empowerment (RISE)\, a student voter registration organization devoted to the notion that when we all vote\, we all rise. He has earned the 2020 Webby Award for Special Achievement\, the George H. W. Bush Points of Light Award\, and the Manhattan Institute’s Civil Society Award\, and was recognized as one of 2020’s top philanthropists by Town & Country Magazine\, alongside Dr. Anthony Fauci and Oprah Winfrey. \nKristin Urquiza is a graduate of Yale University and the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley where she earned a Master of Public Affairs. She is an economic\, social\, and environmental justice advocate and co-founder of Marked By COVID. Her activism is powered by both expertise and lived experience and is a direct response to the heartache she has endured by the broken promises of this country.
